This Buyer Safety Disclaimer provides general safety information for people who view listings, scan QR codes, contact sellers, tour properties, inquire about rentals, or consider vehicle purchases through or from a Pinlisting®-linked page.

References to “Pinlisting,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Pinlisting LLC. References to “you” and “your” mean any buyer, renter, visitor, shopper, listing viewer, QR code scanner, or other person using Pinlisting.

Pinlisting sells custom printed QR signs, stickers, riders, and related products. Pinlisting may also provide QR-linked listing pages and QR redirects. Pinlisting does not verify listings, represent sellers, screen buyers, broker transactions, collect listing payments, inspect properties or vehicles, or guarantee listing accuracy.

1. Pinlisting Does Not Verify Listings

Pinlisting does not verify the accuracy, completeness, legality, ownership, title, condition, availability, price, rent, fees, seller identity, landlord identity, vehicle ownership, or transaction terms of any listing.

Information shown on a Pinlisting page or reached through a Pinlisting QR code may be provided by the seller, landlord, vehicle owner, customer, or another third party.

You are responsible for independently verifying all information before making decisions, sending money, signing documents, touring a property, inspecting a vehicle, or entering into a transaction.

2. Pinlisting Is Not a Transaction Intermediary

Pinlisting is not a real estate broker, real estate agent, property manager, landlord, vehicle dealer, lender, title company, escrow service, inspection service, appraisal service, financing provider, legal service, or transaction intermediary.

Any communication, showing, inspection, negotiation, lease, sale, purchase, deposit, payment, agreement, or transaction is solely between you and the applicable seller, landlord, vehicle owner, buyer, renter, or other third party.

Pinlisting does not collect rent, deposits, purchase funds, escrow funds, application fees, vehicle payments, or transaction funds on behalf of sellers, landlords, vehicle owners, or buyers.

3. General Safety Tips

Before moving forward with any property, rental, or vehicle listing, consider taking reasonable safety steps:

• Verify the identity of the seller, landlord, or vehicle owner.
• Confirm that the person has the legal right to sell, rent, or advertise the property or vehicle.
• Independently verify the address, property, vehicle, price, rent, fees, and availability.
• Be cautious of prices or rent amounts that seem too good to be true.
• Be cautious if someone pressures you to act immediately or refuses reasonable verification.
• Do not send money before independently verifying the property, vehicle, seller, landlord, or transaction.
• Use safe, traceable, and appropriate payment methods when a transaction is legitimate.
• Meet in safe locations and consider bringing another person when viewing property or vehicles.
• Use qualified professionals when appropriate, such as attorneys, inspectors, title companies, lenders, insurance providers, or escrow services.

4. Property For Sale Safety

If you are considering purchasing a property, you should independently verify important information before making an offer, signing documents, or sending money.

You should consider verifying:

• property ownership;
• seller identity;
• title status;
• liens or encumbrances;
• property condition;
• square footage, lot size, and boundaries;
• taxes, assessments, and association fees;
• required disclosures;
• permits, zoning, and local requirements;
• financing, inspection, appraisal, insurance, and closing requirements.

Pinlisting does not verify property ownership, condition, title, liens, seller identity, disclosures, inspections, appraisals, financing, or closing documents.

5. Rental Safety

Rental scams can occur when someone advertises a property they do not own, copies another person’s listing, posts a fake rental, or pressures a renter to send money before proper verification.

Before applying for or renting a property, consider verifying:

• that the rental exists;
• that the person advertising it has authority to rent it;
• the landlord, property owner, or property manager identity;
• rent amount, deposits, fees, utilities, and lease terms;
• property condition and availability;
• application requirements and screening process;
• local rental laws and required disclosures.

Be especially cautious if someone refuses to show the property, claims they are unavailable or out of the area, asks you to send money urgently, requests payment by gift card, wire transfer, cryptocurrency, or unusual payment methods, or pressures you to commit before you can verify the rental.

Pinlisting does not screen landlords, verify rentals, collect deposits, process rent, manage applications, or guarantee rental availability.

6. Vehicle Purchase Safety

If you are considering buying a vehicle, you should independently verify the vehicle and seller before paying, signing documents, or taking possession.

You should consider verifying:

• seller identity;
• vehicle ownership;
• title status;
• lien status;
• VIN and vehicle records;
• mileage;
• accident history;
• recalls;
• condition and mechanical issues;
• warranty status or “as-is” sale terms;
• registration, taxes, and transfer requirements.

Consider having the vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic before purchase.

Pinlisting does not inspect vehicles, verify title, confirm mileage, guarantee condition, broker vehicle sales, process vehicle payments, or act as a vehicle dealer.

7. External Listing Links

A Pinlisting QR code may direct you to a Pinlisting-hosted listing page or to an external website selected by the customer, seller, landlord, or vehicle owner.

External websites may include third-party real estate websites, rental websites, vehicle listing websites, marketplace websites, social media listings, property management websites, or other URLs.

Pinlisting does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, security, availability, accuracy, privacy practices, fees, policies, or functionality.

Use caution when visiting external links and review the privacy and safety practices of any third-party website you use.

8. Warning Signs

Use extra caution if you notice any of the following:

• the price or rent seems far below market value;
• the person refuses to meet, show the property, or allow inspection;
• the person asks for money before you can verify the listing;
• the person asks for payment by gift card, wire transfer, cryptocurrency, or other unusual method;
• the listing photos appear copied from another website;
• the contact information changes unexpectedly;
• the seller or landlord pressures you to act immediately;
• the title, ownership, lease, or payment process seems unclear;
• the person avoids written documentation;
• the listing contains inconsistent, missing, or suspicious information.

9. Protect Your Personal Information

Be careful when sharing personal, financial, or sensitive information with sellers, landlords, vehicle owners, buyers, renters, or other third parties.

Do not share Social Security numbers, bank account information, payment card information, copies of IDs, income documents, or sensitive personal information unless you have independently verified the person, business, website, and transaction.

Pinlisting is not responsible for how sellers, landlords, vehicle owners, buyers, renters, or third parties use information you provide directly to them.

10. Payments and Deposits

Pinlisting does not process buyer payments, rent payments, deposits, escrow funds, vehicle purchase payments, application fees, or transaction funds for listings.

If someone claims that Pinlisting will hold money, guarantee a transaction, provide escrow, process a property payment, process a vehicle payment, or protect a listing transaction, that claim is false unless Pinlisting expressly states otherwise in writing through an official Pinlisting page or communication.

Do not send money unless you have independently verified the transaction and are comfortable with the payment method and recipient.

11. Meetings, Showings, and Test Drives

Use common-sense safety precautions when meeting people, viewing properties, or test driving vehicles.

Consider meeting in safe, public, or well-lit places where appropriate, telling someone where you are going, bringing another person, and avoiding situations that feel unsafe or pressured.

For vehicle test drives, consider verifying the person’s identity, license, insurance, route, and terms before allowing or participating in a test drive.

12. Professional Advice

Pinlisting does not provide legal, tax, financial, real estate, rental, inspection, title, insurance, vehicle, or professional advice.

You should consult qualified professionals when needed, including attorneys, real estate professionals, title companies, inspectors, appraisers, lenders, insurance providers, accountants, mechanics, or government offices.

13. Reporting Concerns

If you believe a Pinlisting page, QR destination, seller, rental, vehicle listing, external link, or inquiry is fraudulent, misleading, unsafe, discriminatory, infringing, or otherwise violates Pinlisting policies, contact us at help@pinlisting.com.

Please include the listing URL, QR URL, external destination, screenshot, seller information if available, and a description of the concern.

Pinlisting may review reports at its discretion and may remove, suspend, restrict, or disable listings, accounts, QR destinations, or other content when appropriate.

14. No Guarantee

Pinlisting does not guarantee the safety, legality, accuracy, availability, quality, condition, ownership, title, pricing, rent, terms, or outcome of any listing, property, rental, vehicle, seller, landlord, buyer, renter, external website, QR destination, or transaction.

You use listings, QR codes, external links, inquiry forms, seller contact information, and third-party communications at your own risk.
